JoraPh Consulting employs a number of Data Guard specialists who have worked for Oracle within the Data Guard technology team. As Data Disaster Recovery is central to an organisation's DR planning, JoraPh has invested heavily in producing a methodology based upon Data Guard.

Once a complete audit has been undertaken and recommendations identify a possible fit for Data Guard within the Oracle environment, JoraPh will advise on the process and procedures that will be needed to be implemented so that disaster risk is removed or reduced significantly.

The main objective of Data Guard is to protect any data contained within the Oracle database and tables. JoraPh will advise on installation and upgrade paths including complimentary technology and processes that can help create a Disaster Recovery solution.

Further advice can be given on Business Continuity Planning (BCP) to ensure that in the event of disruption or disaster the business will be able to function at a level above the technology layer.
