History
JoraPh Consulting was formed in 2002 to provide a dedicated, highly-skilled, consultancy specializing in Oracle technology. Started by former Oracle consultants with over 30 years experience of working within Oracle Corporation, JoraPh has drawn on its vast knowledge of Oracle technology to develop a pertinent set of services for Oracle users to help them get the most out of their investment.
Why the Name 'JoraPh'?
The name JoraPh (pronounced JAW-RAFF) comes from the initials of the three founder members and the word Oracle. 'J' comes from Jane McCulloch (who has since moved on), 'ora' from Oracle and 'Ph' from David Phizacklea and Phil Marshall. Based on the pronunciation of JoraPh, the 'h' of JoraPh morphed into a giraffe.
